fries. Job Description Summary Monitors and directs all base labor team members (trim/sort/raw inspection/frozen inspection/rework crew) in their daily activities.
Responsible for the training of new team members in base labor job duties and ensures proper technique in sorting, trimming, inspecting, and reworking as outlined by company procedure. Job Description Provides leadership, direction, and training of all base labor team members in sort/trim/inspect/rework activities. Ensures that all base labors are actively participating and abiding by all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and general hygiene regulations as outlined by employee handbook. Coaches the base labor workgroup
to expect high personal standards towards safety results. Insures that the base labor workgroup completes the weekly engagement activities and that forms are turned in for recording.
Leads all base labors in daily safety huddles and Ergofit activities. Serves as an Ergofit champion for the base labor work group and attends Ergofit meetings as scheduled. Demonstrated ability to perform job functions independently with minimal supervision. Directs sanitation and general housekeeping in work area assigned to the base labor team members. Lead efforts in the base labor work group to help monitor equipment condition. Works closely with on shift operators and maintenance to perform repairs and where needed complete Defect Cards to address needs.
Manages rework activity and ensures alignment with the daily rework goals for the plant. Participates in daily shift meetings; communicates with sanitation team members regarding defrosts, cut changes, etc. to ensure alignment with the daily production schedule. Effectively communicates with the warehouse lead about rework needs and planned downtimes to ensure optimization of labor resources Monitors and updates all base labor daily break schedules only covering base labor positions in emergency situations Administers sort, trim and inspection tests and records test results.
Effectively communicates with the Team Leaders on any issues impacting safety, quality, or production Performs other duties as assigned by Team Leader or Leadership SAFETY: Must have a complete knowledge and understanding of the plant safety rules including but not limited to the lockout-tagout procedure, chemical hazards and the hearing conservation program. Must have good personal hygiene and be able to practice safe work habits. Job Description Summary This position is responsible for safely evaluating the quality of finished products to assure that they meet company quality standards.
Job Description Duties and Responsibilities: Perform continuous checks on the following attribute tests on finished products: Color, texture, flavor, length, size of cut, defects, percent of solids, percent of salt, bag and case weight, container condition, metal detector checks, labeling and coding, and calibration of Dicromat and Agtron. The tests are divided into 8 or 9 positions which are: line 1 color and texture, line 2 color and texture, line 1 length and defect, line 2 length and defect, and checkweigher position for lines
1, 2, and 3. Line 7 all attributes, line 8 all attributes, line 9 all attributes, and checkweigher position for lines 7, 8, and 9.
The technician is required to: Perform all product evaluation checks as per corporate procedures quickly and safely Understand computer operations including product specifications, data entry, dispositions, and quality trends. Know how to calculate Moving Averages in case of computer failure. Assure equipment is properly set for the tasks performed Notify supervisory staff of deviations from quality standards Understand the hazards located in the lab (i. e. fryer) and how to react in an emergency Assist in training Quality Assurance Tech Trainees.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Must actively practice and abide by all Company work, safety and personal hygiene rules and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook. Know proper handling of hazardous chemicals (i. e. silver nitrate) and correct first aid procedures in the event of a chemical accident. Be able to explain the fire escape routes from any work area in the Plant. Disposition product and record data as per Supervisor's instructions. Assist manifest in communicating correct hold time perimeters to the lab. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory or lead personnel.

A. color charts, tape measure, lab fryers, calculators, telephones, defect template, Company product evaluation and quality scoring cards, manifest and hold tickets, concentrated chemicals, ovens, microwaves, Arizona or Mark I, computer, food grinders, salt analyzer, various kinds of glassware and measuring devices, timers, Agtron, metal detector wands, heat lamps, trays, length grading board and machine, and thermometers.
