This leader will act as the single point of accountability between Marketing and Global Business Services (GBS) and drive global functional marketing standardization and discipline. The Marketing Transformation leader will play a critical
role in backssing and aligning the marketing functional agenda ensuring the global function delivers on functional priorities across the company and regions.
In addition, this role will support the marketing strategic planning process, budget management, and other key strategic initiatives. This role will act as a communication liaison for Marketing and help oversee daily operations. The Marketing Transformation Leader will be accountable for innovative, best-in-class marketing strategies and execution, creating new capabilities in a dynamic environment to drive better effectiveness and efficiencies. This role represents a high-visibility, high-growth opportunity for an individual who thrives in a high impact and fast-paced environment Key Responsibilities Lead global end to end marketing transformation including organization backssment, planning and execution.
Establish project cadence, identify risks and issues for escalation and facilitate resolutions and drive stakeholder alignment. Act as single point of accountability between Marketing and Global Business Services (GBS), owning outcomes and results and driving GBS functional governance. Participate in the GBS governance cycle. Identify, prioritize, and implement GBS and Functional improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies in partnership with Global Delivery Leaders, Process Improvement, Data, Analytics & Automation teams.
Leda a broad range of high-priority Marketing initiatives across our network. Form, manage, and lead Expertise Teams if needed. Define and manage a clear team structure and allocate resources efficiently. S upport the marketing strategic planning process, budget management, and other key strategic initiatives. Act as a mentor and coach to teams leading the development of communication strategies for several brands and campaigns, inclusive of communication objectives, target audience, key messages, and channels.
As well as the creative asset planning process with external and internal partners ensuring a successful execution of campaigns. Actively mentor and develop a large team of marketers helping them to grow and develop in their roles and managerial skills. Build new capability and technical expertise in marketing areas as required. Including ownership of the global marketing training program to build technical marketing skills across global and regional teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field of study 12+ years of experience in marketing strategy, brand management, organizational design, agency management, leadership in a cross-functional role in a shared service type environment, preferably with experience as a chief of staff to C-suite executive.
Experience leading a multi-location, global team. Experience identifying and prioritizing cross functional improvement opportunities, aligning cross functional stakeholders and driving solutioning. Strong understanding of process optimization, performance metrics and project management. Robust marketing technical skills, particularly consumer frameworks (segmentation) and communication message strategies.
Demonstrated ability to apply logical thought process to problem solving and deliver recommendations. Proven ability to translate strategy into actionable information. Thorough understanding of business goals and the role marketing plays in driving the business success. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to guide and influence others, strong leadership of non-direct reports to achieve common objectives in different culture.
Strong analytical decision making and direction setting. Experience managing agency relationships. Excellent presentation, project management and communication skills.
