Consumer Marketing, Oncology (DDR) will be responsible for the strategic planning and tactical execution for our consumer marketing plans.
This individual will be responsible for providing Astra Zeneca leadership required to drive and deliver on the consumer brand strategy for all tumors: Ovarian, Breast Cancer, Prostate, and Pancreatic, and including any pan-tumor consumer initiatives. Consumer activities will be implemented in close partnership with Alliance partners, who are leading Direct-to-Consumer across all tumor types. Key areas of focus for this role include the following: digital strategy, integration with HCP marketing, understanding key consumer and market insights, developing a comprehensive strategy and tactics with clear performance metrics.
This position will report directly into the Director, Oncology Marketing, Pan-tumor, and will work in close partnership with marketing colleagues across the entire team. The role will work across the DNA Damage Response (DDR) Franchise and the Oncology Business Unit and will play a meaningful role in integrating the execution of our marketing plans across indications. This position is based at our Gaithersburg, MD campus, headquarters. Key Accountabilities: Develop digital and consumer/patient marketing strategy and tactical planning Facilitate development and execution of patient promotional plan and programs, ensure alignment with brand strategy Facilitate development and execution of unbranded initiatives to support patient/caregiver education Translate the brand science and strategy into consumer-friendly terms in an effort to make a positive impact on patients' lives Collaborate on direct-to-consumer strategy and execution for the Business Strategy Planning annual process, across tumors Establish consumer marketing critical metrics Develop or evolve CRM strategy and program execution for patients across tumors Build alliances with internal team members such as Business Insights and Analytics, Corporate Affairs, Brand Team, Payer Access Strategy members to help with cross-functional planning and to ensure a strong, evidence-based approach to support the delivery of consumer materials Partner closely with agency and to ensure efficient delivery of consumer deliverables, including efficient workflows and impactful, insights-driven content Ensure legal/regulatory compliance and medical accuracy of all marketing materials Qualifications Minimum of Bachelor's Degree3-5 years of commercial experience with consumer or HCP marketing experience in medical and/or healthcare industry with experience in one or more of the following: consumer marketing, HCP marketing, new product planning, brand marketing, sales, or market research/analytics, strategic planning Preferred qualifications MBAOncology, rare disease or specialty care experience highly preferred Understanding of U.
S.
