As a(n) Production Supervisor, you will help ensure our production facilities can manufacture the innovative flooring products our customers rely on. our work are necessary. The successful candidate will work with the team to drive results. So, what will you be doing as a(n) Production Supervisor? Enforce safety regulations.

Keep notes of employees' attendance and hours worked. Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Read and analyze work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and evaluate current production estimates and outputs. Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. Interpret specifications,

job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers.

Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure operators conform to production or processing standards. Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in production, such as inspectors, machine operators, or forklift drivers. Conduct training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures or assign training to experienced workers. Evaluate employee performance. Confer with management or subordinates to resolve union worker problems, complaints, or grievances. Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.

Requisition safety supplies. Adjust machines and equipment at start-up. Recommend personnel actions, such as hiring, evaluations, or promotions. To be successful in this role, you’ll need: Two to three years of experience successfully leading people in a supervisory or a lead position. High school or GED.
