We are looking for Processor I (Assembler) who can perform the following duties: PRIMARY FUNCTIONS The primary functions include using finishing processes on products by performing the following duties. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the Major Responsibilities, including the following: Accurately performs basic finishing processes with minimal
supervision. Deburrs and polishes parts quickly and accurately. Operates the laser etch machine. Operates the polisher/tumbler. Performs basic to mid-level assemblies Performs passivation processes Operates the grit/glass machines with minimal supervision Reads and understands blueprints, routers, work instructions and inspection procedures and determines the most effective method of work Verifies quality by using basic measuring equipment such as micrometers or calipers.
Identifies and segregates rejected parts. Adequately documents work. Works overtime as required. Other duties as assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the
essential functions. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); six months to one-year experience and or training preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent communication skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, routers and written procedures. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as circumference and to perform basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
