POWER EQUIPMENT (FORKLIFT) OPERATOROur TJ Maxx/ Distribution Center (DC) is looking for top notch Power Equipment Operators. This person will play a key role in ensuring merchandise is organized and handled with care to provide value to our customers.
This is for our location on North Hollywood Blvd and East Ann Road. Shift Opportunities: A Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:00AM - 3:30PM B Shift: Friday - Sunday 6:30AM - 7:00PM C Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:00PM - 2:30AM POSITION SUMMARY: The Power Equipment Operator is a professional who is responsible for moving goods around the warehouse. They do this by using a
forklift to unload deliveries from trucks and stack boxes for storage purposes throughout the shipping center and property. The duties of a Power Equipment Operator include, but are not limited to: PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Operate other mechanical devices and/or other controls that operate lifting devices like lift beams.
Complete In-House certification on Forklift, Double Forks, and Turret Stock Picker Load and offload materials onto and off pallets skids, and vehicles Ensure that products are safely and securely transported to designated areas. Observe and comply with quality, environment, health, and safety procedures. Personally check all quality descriptions of the merchandise to be moved.
In the event of daily department downsizing, Annex Drivers, and Annex AC will still receive BID pay if redeployed to Annex General Warehouse/Shipping function.
Qualifications: 1-2 year of power equipment operation / forklift operating experience, preferred Must be at least 18 years of age Be able to lift up to 50lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation Must be able to stand and/or walk for 10 to 12 hours.
