Observe progress of work and report damage such as damaged or exposed pipes and cables or caved-in vaults. Indicate urgency of repairs required. Coordinate gas construction and maintenance projects with underground work of municipal departments or other utilities. Observe contractors performing tasks near gas lines; may halt project if safety becomes
a factor. Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Safely operate company vehicles in a constant state of alertness. Other duties as assigned including: collections, meter reading, leak surveying, and construction survey.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent. One year line locating experience preferred. One year leak survey experience preferred. One year meter reading experience preferred. Experience demonstrating mechanical and electrical aptitude. Experience performing work requiring a customer service focus. Must be able to pass federally required initial and continuous Operator Qualifications training. Valid Alaska driver's license and be qualified
