Position Overview: The Calibration Technician is responsible for calibrating, repairing, and troubleshooting variety of manufactured instruments in our Environmental Sensors product line to ensure specified performance, precision, and accuracy. Activities include completion of calibrations and test on newly built product as well as returned product evaluation and repair. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Calibration technicians
use various tools to calibrate electrical, mechanical, and electronic instruments.
Ensure that Environmental Sensors meet established standards and specifications and consistently produce accurate and reliable results. Document calibration processes and tests and prepare test/calibration reports. Complete routine testing to determine if equipment used for calibration are performing within established ranges. Manage and maintain work center equipment to ensure specified calibration and testing results are achieved. Coordinate with production and engineering departments as needed for troubleshooting and problem solving. Monitor and complete all processes to ensure optimal quality is achieved.
Manage workload to achieve production schedules and ensure completion within allotted timeframe. Position Requirements 2 years of experience in test and measurement environment is required Familiarity with temperature and pressure chambers and gauges Electrical testing background is preferred Preferred Qualifications: Strong written and verbal written communication skills. Excellent problem solving and time management skills. Ability to effectively multi-task in our fast-paced environment. Provide a high level of professionalism and well with other team members.
