to corporate purchasing to set-up new vendors as necessary Expedite deliveries as necessary Resolve receiving discrepancies with suppliers Coordinate with the Quality Department supplier visits to the plant as necessary Visit suppliers as necessary Order acknowledgements verification Resolve, return material to the supplier as necessary, and follow-up on the receipt of appropriate credit Write up capital request with the direction of the Engineering manager Capital purchasing and budgeting Capital project coordination SECONDARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Communicate all safety concerns, production issues, or other observations to Maintenance Supervisor or Team Manager.
