Shifts may vary from day shift or night shift, depending on the delivery, processing schedule & season. Start Date: JUNE 2023 (Supervisors can extend employment for seasoned workers). Crab Season: February - March, unless released by employer. Salmon Season: June - October, unless released by employer. Sea Cucumber Season: October - December, unless released by employer. Starting Wage: $18.06 an hour A verage Hours per week
: Availability of wild seafood to process can vary depending on the boat deliveries, weather conditions, catch rates, harvest openings & delivery schedules. AGS strives to provide as consistent work schedule as possible for our crew.
However, there are times of the season that it is not possible to provide work every day for all workers. Due to the nature of our industry, we cannot guarantee a minimum number of hours for each worker, but based on prior years, this is the general trend: February 15th - March 7th: 12-14 hour days, 7 days a week. July 1st - August 15th: up to 12 hour days, up to 7 days a week. August 16th - September 30th: Inconsistent number of hours and days. October 1st
- November 30th: up to 12 hour days. Approximately 5 - 7 days a week.
All other dates: Inconsistent number of hours and days, based on availability of seafood and projects. Gear: AGS supplies all required gear. Housing: AGS offers shared apartment-style company housing (cost, rules and regulations apply).
