A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CHIMNEY MASON TENDER As a Chimney Mason Tender, you assist masons with various masonry tasks such as mixing mortar and concrete, setting up ladders, transferring materials, setting up scaffolding, and other daily duties. You get to drive vehicles as well as carefully load and unload materials from each vehicle. As needed, you use power tools to cut brick and grind mortar joints. You also keep the job site and company vehicles clean and organized. Every day, you come to work ready to learn and help as much as you can.
