Grease dryer trunnions. Calibrate p H meter. Perform dryer gas readings. Check temperature probes on dryer for proper functioning. Check flow rates of air and gas to dryer. Annually dissemble and re-assemble dryer and mill equipment for maintenance and replacement.
Record all downtime for dryer. Monitors feed of liquid from peel bin. TRAINING, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND
EXPERIENCE Ability to perform routine, repetitive movements in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to understand the concepts of liquid flow, pressures and temperatures and how they affect citrus products.
Requires bending and twisting from the waist, stooping, squatting and climbing. Ability to maneuver around, over and under pipes and equipment. Ability to operate in confined spaces. Requires pushing objects weighing over 100 pounds and pulling objects with force. Understanding of both upstream and downstream processes and multi-media communication skills. Ability to operate electronic control equipment. Requires moving of materials weighing up to 50 pounds and lifting from floor
and head levels. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Operate other equipment as required.

EQUIPMENT Computer and associated software, dryers, mill, grease, p H meters, conductivity sensor, telephone, tanks, piping, valves, pumps, hoses, hand tools, hand truck, rubber gloves, hard hat, safety glasses, earplugs. WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed both in and outdoors at multiple levels in excess of 80 feet.
