interviews, intake and written follow-up when needed. Maintains all computer records, including but not limited to, the inputs of client demographics & services provided in the data intake system. Provides a wide variety of referral information to clients.
Completes client backssments for placement into appropriate programs. Place client onto appropriate program waiting list if no openings are available. Make referrals and assist with support services as needed. Provides residents with bus passes as needed. Responsible for entering into the HMIS system information, as well as requests for checks. Serves as an information collection point between clients and case managers. Responsible
for keeping clients, what program they're with, and what case managers they're assigned to accurately entered into the computer databases. Order office supplies, as needed.
Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail for the department. Responsible for answering the main phone line into the department. Responsible for ensuring the proper forms are available for use. Provides crisis intervention, as needed. Attends trainings when available. Other duties, as may be assigned. Qualifications, Education, and/or Equivalent Experience: High School Diploma or GED 2 years of experience working with homeless populations. Data Entry and HMIS experience required. Must pass a background check and pre-employment
drug screening. Random drug testing is performed. Must have a valid NV driver's license and clean DMV record.
Driver History Reports are required to be submitted on a quarterly basis. Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office environment, with driving required at times. May be subject to sitting, lifting, bending, squatting, walking, standing, pushing and pulling, and simple grasping.
