Job Description The Executive Director Operations Excellence is responsible for directing all aspects of Operational Excellence and driving innovation in all OSTA facilities.

This includes organic development cooperation with all OSTA sites and other Olympus plants. The Executive Director manages all aspects of Operational Excellence as well as important strategic projects globally across Olympus. The Executive Director ensures that the Lean/TPS

initiatives are being developed and implemented consistently across the sites with the needs of the production facilities for continually improving key performance indicators and ensuring that new product introductions are introduced into production in a timelier and efficient manner.

Executive Director manages CIP and capital projects. Job Duties Anticipates and resolves the problems/issues that could impact the success of assigned responsibilities and manages conflicting objectives. Actively manages OSTA Lean Production System (OLPS) implementation and its evolution Creates OSTA manufacturing strategic plan in alignment with Global Olympus strategic planning. Responsible for setting

standards for processes and environment in the OSTA sites to standardize production systems across Olympus (such as Lean and Continuous Improvement).

Build and train culture using continuous improvement methodology. Consults with all sites and departments to improve Operational Excellence (such as 5S/TPS) and ensures implementation and sustainability. Identify and initiate cost saving projects. Develops recommendations and/or proposals for executive management review. Directs and implements activities for continuous improvement across OSTA. Consults and work actively in OSTA OLPS initiatives. Develops implements and monitors effectiveness of systems and procedures to ensure compliance to all FDA and other regulatory agency rules and regulations.

Directs global operations projects across Olympus. All Other Essential Duties as directed. Job Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred) Masters preferred. Lean/Process excellence certification from accredited organization (ie: Black Belt Six Sigma) required. Minimum of 10+ years' experience in lean methodology and project implementation to include involvement of adoption of programs across multiple locations. Minimum of 10+ years' experience in managing manufacturing and/or engineering teams in a technical and industry environment.

Minimum of 10+ years' experience in project management as a project manager and people leader. Preferred: Demonstrated Strategic Planning and Development experience with leading organizational programs influencing cultural adoption and change. Experience and knowhow of order fulfilment and shop floor processes. Ability to motivate and work well in a close team environment. The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $135,875.00 - $203,812.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
