The Recovery Specialist Supervisor supports Bay Cove's mission by ensuring the delivery of evidence-based services rooted in harm reduction and a trauma-responsive approach. This is an exempt position. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Work with the multidisciplinary team to support the processes for residents' admission (greeting, sign-in, orientation, search and belongings processing), transfer, discharge, ongoing observation and care, while ensuring respect and dignity Interact therapeutically with residents to ensure their needs are met Ensure the safety of all residents by proactively addressing escalating behaviors and physical plant issues, by monitoring
activities, by conducting and documenting checks, and by contacting on-call staff when necessary Schedule, supervise, and coach Recovery Specialists to ensure required staffing ratios, role competence, and consistent application of safety procedures, including wellness/safety checks Ensures compliance with federal, state and local licensing and contractual requirements (including DPH, HUD, SAMHSA), including the creating and submission of incident reports Ensure timely and accurate communication and coordination of care with other providers, such as DCF and DPH Oversee the medication administration system and ensure that all staff are trained and complying with responsibilities of the medication

High school diploma or equivalent required. Five (5) years of experience in substance use disorder and/or behavioral health treatment settings required. Two (2) years experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Demonstrated leadership, delegation, communication, and team building skills. Demonstrated professional writing, interpersonal, and organization skills. Basic proficiency in word processing and other computer functions using Windows, Word, and Google Email and Apps. Bending to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment up to twenty (20) pounds. Frequent movement throughout the unit to access, obtain, or distribute supplies (sometimes pushing or pulling equipment), interact with patients, assist in the transport of patients, etc. Undertake lifesaving efforts by conducting CPR via the provision of chest compressions and rescue breathing as needed until relieved by medical professionals. WHAT YOU WILL DO Collaborate with the CCD team to execute and advance vision, mission, and goals of the Center. Counsel students throughout the full career development life cycle which may include career exploration, resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation, networking approaches, internship and job search
strategies, offers and negotiations, Linked In and personal branding, and other related topics. Develop career management curriculum for non-credit and credit-bearing courses.
Engage in continuous professional development in career and workforce development to drive best practices for career development programming and advising to maximize learning and student engagement. Collaborate with CCD Career Education team to design and deliver workshops, experiences, and other programing focused on relevant career management, industry-specific, and functional area. Partner with Corporate Relations to strategically expand and cultivate employer relationships, stay current on industry and employer
trends, and provide programming to ensure students are prepared to succeed.
Provide benchmarking research to support continued development of best practices for advising program, resource utilization, and service improvements. Collaborate with marketing and branding team (College Marketing) to produce and deliver multi-media content for print and online distribution (website, blogs, and social media) to promote CCD programs and services. Support data collection efforts related to employer engagement and satisfaction, student engagement and satisfaction, and student internship and employment outcomes. Represent CCD on various committees and serve as liaison to specific departments.
