Review bankruptcy files with paralegal and client. Prepare clients for their 341 meetings. Review bankruptcy notices, motions, objections, and pleadings. Work effectively with the case attorney and trustees. Review and analyze each case for issues and practice ways to resolve those issues (refiles, conversions, modifications, etc. ). Perform other duties specific
to assigned cases, including reaffirmations, modifications, dismissals, legal research, etc. Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews.
Requirements:3+ years of experience or a track record of handling 300+ bankruptcy cases. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. Member of the Texas State Bar and in good standing. Member of the four Texas Federal Courts or at least one and willing to apply to others. Ability to provide legal instruction independently.
