Provides a healthy, safe and nurturing environment. Implements policies and procedures regarding communicable diseases, i. e. exclusions and readmissions. Communicates effectively with the student, family, school staff, community, and other providers regarding student care. Employs counseling techniques and crisis intervention strategies for individuals and groups.
