of Julianne M. Holt, Public Defender, 13th Judicial Circuit, Hillsborough County (Tampa), Florida, is seeking an experienced attorney to work in our Non-Capital Homicide Unit. The qualified applicant will have a minimum of 5-years criminal jury trial experience, including homicide trial experience.

The applicant should be able to discuss details of their trial history and provide examples of significant motion practice. Experience working with medical, mental health, and other experts is a must. All attorneys in our Non-Capital Homicide Unit work towards the goal of becoming qualified to handle death penalty cases under Rule 3.112 of the Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure. The role of
