The ideal candidate must be admitted to practice in Rhode Island, and admission in Massachusetts is preferred. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide legal advice and guidance on real estate transactions, including but not limited to acquisitions, dispositions, permitting, and financing.
Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions. Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Represent clients in negotiations and settlements related to real estate matters. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals,
and staff to facilitate seamless real estate transactions. Requirements:0-5 years of experience in real estate law, specifically in the disposition, acquisition, permitting, and financing of residential and commercial properties.
Admission to practice law in Rhode Island is mandatory. Admission to practice law in Massachusetts is preferred. Education: Juris Doctor (J. D. ) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Admission to the Rhode Island Bar. Skills: Strong knowledge of real estate law and regulations. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
