job description: Job Overview: The Attorney will be responsible for drafting contracts, discovery, pleadings, and motions and representing clients in court appearances. This role will involve working closely with the Firm's Managing Attorney, and the candidate will have the opportunity for future pay increases, bonuses, and advancement within the firm.
The Attorney should have a strong background in both litigation and transactional law, covering various practice areas, including Personal Injury, Property Damage, Real Estate Law, Business Law, Criminal Law, Family Law, Estate Planning and Administration, and Sports and entertainment. Duties: Drafting contracts, legal documents, and correspondence.
Conducting legal research and analysis to support case strategy. Handling discovery procedures and document production. Preparing pleadings and motions for court proceedings.
Representing clients in court appearances, hearings, and trials. Collaborating with the Firm Managing Attorney to develop case strategies. Providing legal counsel and advice to clients on various legal matters. Negotiating settlements and agreements on behalf of clients. Managing a caseload across multiple areas of practice. Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar.2-7 years of legal experience, with a focus on litigation and transactional work.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.
Excellent legal research and writing abilities. Proficiency in legal technology and research tools. Demonstrated knowledge in the specified practice areas.
