by appointment with some walk-in capability. The clinic is open Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm. All employees at this location will be required to travel to our Velocity Care sites as needed. $3,000.00 sign-on bonus is available for external candidates who meet applicable guidelines.
As part of the health care team, assumes primary accountability for nursing coordination and provision of individualized care for patients of all ages. Utilizes delegation and critical thinking skills to provide quality service through a team oriented, collaborative approach to patient care. backsses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in order to achieve optimum patient outcomes for patients
of all ages as appropriate to service area. Determines and performs within clinical, leadership, and/or education pathways to support (direct/indirect) evidenced based, quality patient care service and performance improvement.
Assists with providing education activities for unit/department. Consistently demonstrates the role of patient advocate, protector of patient's rights, and provider of psychological/social/cultural support. What We Require: Education: Graduate of school of professional nursing. BSN preferred. Experience: One year of RN experience is preferred. Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia or
new graduate of approved program eligible to sit for the Virginia licensure exam.
Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required. May be required to obtain/maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP based on specific work unit. Other Minimum Qualifications: Must successfully complete orientation and competency requirements. Keyboarding skills and computer literacy required for automated computer systems, including electronic medical records. Must be able to meet essential job functions. RNs are eligible to participate in the Career Advancement Program (CAP) to attain various levels of advancement. Levels are determined by achievements as outlined in the CAP Scoring Sheet, which is part of the RN performance appraisal.
