The ideal candidate will contribute to the firm's intellectual property practice by leveraging their expertise in biotechnology, molecular biology, and related disciplines. Duties: Draft and prosecute patent applications in the biotech field, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
Evaluate and analyze patent portfolios, providing strategic guidance to clients on intellectual property matters. Conduct due diligence investigations related to biotech patents and intellectual property transactions. Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and provide legal advice accordingly. Stay current with developments in biotech law
and regulations to offer informed and proactive legal counsel. Requirements: Possess 3-8 years of relevant experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the biotech sector.
Registered to practice before the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office. Hold a Ph. D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related discipline. Desirable: Prior experience in a law firm setting. Excellent academic credentials demonstrating a strong background in biotech and intellectual property law. Education: Ph. D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related discipline. Certifications: Must be registered to practice before
the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office. Skills: Outstanding organizational and communication skills, both written and oral.
