to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: KS RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RN's BLS from the American Heart Association required within 8 weeks of hire (need in hand to orientate on unit)ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required within 6 months of hire or transfer One year RN experience preferred Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly) Shift is variable as some will be PACU 8-430p.
Preop is 630a start and usually work 8 hour shifts. Usually, 1 day call per week and will have to take approx. every 5th or 6th weekend. Call Required: 1-2 weekday call shifts and 1x 24hr weekend call shift. Generally 1-2 call shifts per month. 30 minute call back radius required.
