Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Cath Lab/Rad Specials RNCritical Care experience preferred. Pre-op experience preferred. Prepares patients for Cath Lab and CT procedures. Checks documents for accuracy. Communicates
lab results to appropriate care team member or physician. Recovers patients following procedures. Minimum EducationGraduate of an accredited registered nursing program required.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum Work ExperienceCritical Care experience required. Cath Lab experience preferred. Investigate, report, and address resident concerns. Administer medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response. Manage medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures. and charting software. Notify Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
Monitor nursing personnel on duty and conduct CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)/Nurse audits as needed. Nurse Supervisor skills and requirements: Must have a current MN Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License; RN license preferred. CPR certification required.
