Responsibilities: Provide strategic legal counsel and comprehensive guidance to clients within the realms of corporate law, specifically targeting government contractors and commercial entities. Lead and oversee a diverse portfolio of matters including entity formations, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, compliance issues, and regulatory matters.
Conduct thorough legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and develop innovative solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of clients. Draft, review, and negotiate various business documents, such as contracts, agreements, and corporate governance documents. Advise
clients on risk mitigation strategies, intellectual property concerns, employment matters, and effective dispute resolution tactics. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating a commitment to providing exceptional service and delivering timely and effective legal solutions.
Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J. D. ) degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law. A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in Corporate law, preferably within a respected law firm or relevant legal environment. In-depth familiarity with government contracting regulations, commercial transactions, and corporate governance principles. Proven ability to handle
complex business transactions and provide strategic advice to clients in a variety of legal contexts.
Strong analytical acumen, exceptional negotiation skills, and a solutions-oriented approach to legal challenges. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively. Leadership capabilities, including the ability to mentor junior attorneys and collaborate seamlessly within a team environment.
