RN - Welcome Baby Northridge Hospital Medical Center We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Welcome Baby RN to join our team. As a Welcome Baby Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting new parents during the exciting and challenging

early days of parenthood. Your primary responsibility will be to provide in-home care and education to new parents and their newborns. The Welcome Baby RN will be responsible for visiting families at that critical first home visit after discharge from the hospital as well as making a second home visit for families who have had a baby in the NICU.

and their infants. Provide guidance on newborn care, including feeding, diapering, and sleep routines.

Offer emotional support and address any concerns or questions from new parents. Educate parents on infant development and milestones. Monitor the health and well-being of both the baby and the mother. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed. Maintain detailed records of each visit and the progress of the family. Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited/approved Nursing program. BSN in Nursing required. Public Health Nurse Certificate, or will complete with 1 year of hire. Registered Nurse with current California License required.

At least one year of experience in maternal and/or newborn services with strong maternal and newborn clinical backssment skills. Basic Life Support certification required. Certified Lactation Educator (CLE) or Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant IBCLC/RLC (obtained within 6 months of start date. )LA City Fire Care required.
