Minimum Qualifications: L. M. S. W. L. C. S. W. or eligible, 3 years relevant post-master's experience (preferably in a hospital and/or healthcare environment) required. New M. S. W. graduates who are L. M. S. W. eligible will be considered for appointment to entry level (SL2) position at a commensurate salary after obtaining a Limited Permit. Incumbent must obtain L. M. S. W. within 12 months of receipt of limited permit. Preferred Qualifications: Transplant experience preferred and/or working knowledge and experience.

Work Days: Monday-Friday 8:30-5 with occasional on-call/holiday coverage on rotation based on operational needs.

Position Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conducting complete psychiatric backssments and mental status examinations, determining diagnostic impressions in accordance with

the DSM 5 and providing psychiatric treatment including prescribing and administering medications. Performs comprehensive history and examinations, and compiles patient medical data, including behavioral health history.

Makes referrals to outside care/ facilities or orders diagnostic/laboratory tests as needed and collects, interprets and documents test results for patients. Participates in treatment teams and develops and implements patient treatment care plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care. Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, emotional problems of daily living, health maintenance, and addiction
