Duties: Conduct legal research and analysis on community development transactions involving NMTCs, HTCs, and RETCs. Provide legal support and guidance on commercial real estate transactions. Assist in structuring and negotiating financing agreements for community development projects. Collaborate with clients to ensure compliance with federal tax laws and regulations. Draft legal documents, contracts, and agreements
about tax credits and impact finance transactions. Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations affecting community development projects. Requirements:0-5 years of transactional experience.
Strong interest in community development transactions utilizing NMTCs, HTCs, and/or RETCs. Experience with NMTCs, HTCs, and RETCs is helpful. Commercial real estate experience, commercial lending experience, structured finance, and/or general federal income tax experience. Active license to practice law. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active license to practice law. Skills: Excellent written and analytical skills. Superior academic performance.
