We provide services to a town of approximately 5000 residents and see thousands of visitors each week from our two exits off of interstate 85 and from US 58. We offer a starting salary of $46,000 per year for certified officers. We offer negotiated salaries depending on years of service and qualification for Virginia road certified law enforcement officers. Our field officers
work twelve-hour shifts with every other weekend off. We have opportunities for overtime work, and court overtime. We offer excellent benefits to include Health, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and a retirement program through Virginia Retirement System with hazardous duty benefits paid.

Experience : No experience required, but previous law enforcement or security experience is preferred. Licensure/Certification : (1) Has met Virginia minimum training standards for law enforcement officers and is currently certified as a law enforcement officer by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services, or; is eligible to attend and successfully complete such training within one year of being hired. (2) Valid Virginia driver's license required. Other : Must possess a driving record within the scope
