Specialist/Porter Job Duties: Controls access to North End Teleservices facility through the admittance process. Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Controls traffic by directing drivers when necessary. Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations. Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat,
flooding, water discharge, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents. Light day porter services including but not limited to checking the bathrooms, breakrooms and restocking supplies as needed, cleaning security office and administrative entrance windows.
Other duties as assigned. Skills Thorough knowledge of security procedures and techniques Experienced in executing duties for unarmed security services Familiarity with law enforcement policies and building access control system Ability to stand and walk constantly and carry weight of 40 pounds Skilled in preparing detailed reports on incidences The ability to manage your own workload. The ability to adapt to changing
