The Police Officer will ensure the safety and security of citizens, municipal streets, buildings, residences, and neighborhoods. Responsibilities include: Responding to criminal and public calls for service including fires, automobile accidents, crimes, neighborhood disturbances, and other requests from citizens; Responding to crimes in progress, conducting investigations, conducting

Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Minimum age requirement 21 years. Valid Arizona Class D Driver's License, with no felony convictions. Ensures all daily activity is accounted for via daily activity reports and/or shift blotters. Completes detailed incident reports via a computerized incident reporting system. Reviews daily pass on information with other officers to ensure significant issues are followed up on and reported as necessary. Conducts preliminary investigations and completes incident reports on occurrences involving emergencies, parking lot incidents, thefts and Customer policy violations. Controls the issuance and return of access cards and keys and makes appropriate entries in the corresponding logs.
Provides escort for employees and contractors as required or requested. Conducts safety inspections of fire extinguishers, emergency exits, lighting fixtures, etc. and forwards items that need attention to the Customer Physical Security Manager.
