Center Float Pool The Clinical Resource Center is an internal float pool made up of RNs and Techs that are cross-trained to various departments throughout the hospital. This team of superheroes ensures adequate staffing coverage for planned and unplanned events and allows us to flex between different departments to support the various needs that arise, including Medical/Surgical, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency, Ambulatory, and OB/GYN.
Hospitalist providers (physicians and nurse practitioners), located on the unit, collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate patient healing. Be a part of this talented team, excited to support a Heart & Vascular program newly expanded to provide 24/7
services! The Clinical Resource Center (CRC) Nurse will function as a Staff RN and is responsible to provide total nursing care of the patient within an assigned patient care unit.
The CRC Nurse position will function within various nursing units, according to both scheduling and staffing needs. This position carries out these responsibilities independently with the guidance of accepted nursing and department practice as well as directed by medical staff. Departments can include: Medical/Surgical, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency, Ambulatory, and OB/GYN. and process complex auto and commercial transportation claims by reviewing coverage, completing investigations, determining liability and evaluating the scope of damages.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES Processes complex auto commercial and personal line claims, including bodily injury and ensures claim files are properly documented and coded correctly. Responsible for litigation process on litigated claims. Coordinates vendor management, including the use of independent adjusters to assist the investigation of claims. Reports large claims to excess carrier(s). Develops and maintains action plans to ensure state required contact deadlines are met and to move the file towards
prompt and appropriate resolution. Identifies and pursues subrogation and risk transfer opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
Communicates claim action/processing with insured, client, and agent or broker when appropriate. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES Performs other duties as assigned. Supports the organization's quality program(s). Travels as required. QUALIFICATIONS Education & Licensing Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred. Secure and maintain the State adjusting licenses as required for the position.
