That vision included adopting a trauma-informed approach to mental health care called The Sanctuary Model, as well as creating a resiliency support program
called Team CARE Response for employees. The unit was recently expanded to accommodate more inpatients and offers 24 rooms, each with a garden view. In addition, renovations were made to the Psychiatric Care Unit housed in the Emergency Department that offers additional psychiatric beds.
The average patient census is 18 and nurse to patient ratios are 6:1. The average patient stay is 9 days. All Behavioral Health RN's also float to the ED to care for the psychiatric patients being treated in the Emergency Department. GED, Hi SET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required. EXPERIENCE Experience typically gained through 2-3 years experience working with third party billing practices, (experience
with physician's billing preferred) required. SKILLS Proven knowledge of ICD-9, CPT-4 and HCPCS coding required.
Outstanding customer service and excellent communication skills are necessary to interact with third party agents and patients both verbally and in writing required. Knowledge and experience with medical terminology, strong computer skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills are required. The ability to work in a fast paced environment and flexibility in adapting to changes in policies, regulations and procedures are essential.
