Essential Duties Conduct HVAC/R servicing jobs promptly, professionally and efficiently Perform routine HVAC/R service activities Prepare Service Tickets by collecting all required information, notes, and signatures while on the customer site Recognize potential revenue leads by communicating additional services with the customer.
Listed are a few service examples: unit components, unit replacements, add-on units, and commercial service contracts Develop and refer customer leads to the CES Sales team Willing to conduct non-service related support for the Installation Departments, as assigned Perform related duties as directed by the Service Manager Lead project
repairs or replacements, as assigned Demonstrate proper use of Safety Equipment at all times Ability to manage time and workload effectively Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as needed Ensure company vehicle is in clean and well maintained at all times Ensure compliance with safe driving practices while driving a company vehicle Use of cellular phone while driving company vehicle is prohibited Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and overtime is required Participation in an On Call rotation Experience Minimum twelve (12) years of successful experience in commercial service and with at least six (6) different manufacturer's equipment Minimum Ten (10) years experience with air-cooled
chillers, ice machines, chilled water units, light building automation, rooftop units, split systems, Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) and boilers Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Graduate of a post-secondary HVACR program of instruction with two or more years in duration Graduate of factory training for chillers, boilers, or etcetera Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
