control devices General repair work on refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment, such as air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, gas furnaces, compressors and electric motors in a safe and timely manner Qualifications / Skills : Valid driver's license with insurable driving record Certification from an accredited vocational technical or trade school EPA Universal Certification 3 + years' experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines and gas furnaces Refrigeration license (MA) a PLUS!
Experience troubleshooting various equipment and educating customers on repairs needed or replacement recommendations Basic knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnaces and electrical Working knowledge of single systems, small rack systems, display cases, ice machines and walk-in boxes Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers, co-workers and management Good organization and time management skills Customer service skills Proficient using tablet / computer for work orders, parts, timecards etc.
Willingness to invest time in training seminars, classes and obtaining industry certifications / licenses. We have an excellent education reimbursement program!
