Position Summary Memorial Care's Systems job family works to administer, manage, design, implement, secure, and maintain clinical and business solutions residing on departmental, campus, and enterprise software systems. They are responsible for overall architecture, installations, maintenance,
upgrades, and continuous improvement of Memorial Care's software systems environment. The Systems group services include design, diagramming, budgeting, monitoring, capacity management and back up to sustain a level of highly available system operations.
The Systems group provides technical leadership in the areas of system monitoring, planning and forecasting, ensuring capacity needs are addressed and performance target metrics are met. They respond to incidents, providing troubleshooting and escalation support when service and performance issues occur and proactively monitors and maintains systems to prevent unscheduled service interruptions. The Systems group additionally provides
technical cost and resource planning in addition to implementation assistance for projects and new services.
They are responsible for reviewing client impact and business continuity as each change is planned. The System group has a thorough understanding of the change management process and its effects on operations. Individuals in the Systems group successfully execute complex system hardware and software upgrades through careful review and planning. T hrough the change process and continuous effort for improvement this group enables clients across Memorial Care to stay on optimized and secure systems that provide the best outcomes while meeting the needs of the patients they serve.
Under minimal supervision, the Memorial Care Sr. Systems Engineer is responsible for implementing complex projects, systems design, and procurement of new or improved enterprise software systems that support the goals and strategies of the organization. They are assigned the oversight and maintenance of specific enterprise software systems requiring the capabilities to perform advanced support utilizing the highest level of technical trouble shooting and analysis methods for resolution of incidents, problems, and requests specific to the systems and software. The Sr.
Systems Engineer possesses strong customer service orientation with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. The Sr. Systems Engineer has the demonstrated ability to lead, educate and mentor junior resources.
