The IT Governance and Policy team coordinates and drives the administration of IT governance committees, and groups that collectively work to inform, shape, and guide the vision, direction, and priorities for campus technology. They conduct campus-wide stakeholder alignment activities and engage technology subject-matter owners
and experts to drive effective decision-making and assist with documentation and publication of IT governance and policy for the university. The IT Governance Lead will spearhead all aspects of UCLA's IT governance, including the development and implementation of a comprehensive IT governance framework for the ITS organization.
This Lead will provide direction for a clear governance structure, including guidance for strategic and advisory committees of university leaders, senior IT personnel, and representatives from various departments. They will also help guide the university's IT strategy, policies, and initiatives. The Lead will ensure alignment between governance best practices and
ITS strategic initiatives, including backssing how ITS can best support the university's academic, administrative, and research functions.
This role will supervise dedicated specialists who ensure compliance with governance policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines across all IT projects. The Lead will engage with stakeholders across the university community, including faculty, staff, students, and researchers, to inform technology-related decisions and ensure technology initiatives meet their needs. The Lead will oversee the creation, implementation, and continuous monitoring of IT policies and procedures, in addition to working closely with senior leadership and IT stakeholders to align IT governance initiatives with the university's strategic objectives.

and management activities. The Manager, Program Management Office will oversee IT project managers for enterprise initiatives, programs, and projects. The Manager, Program Management Office will be accountable for effective program delivery from a team of IT project managers and analysts within UCLA's Enterprise Program Management Office (e PMO).
The Manager will be accountable for team's development as well as the standards that are used across the overall program, ensuring that program sponsorship, strategy, scope, schedule, and budget targets are defined and achieved.
