to our success. Come help us solve problems with Innovation Through Intelligence. Responsibilities Design and implement network infrastructure solutions for SAP systems/Subsystems, Azure Stack Hub, and related subsystem devices including network topology, routing, switching, and security.
Configure network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls to ensure they are properly connected and secure. Troubleshoot, identify and resolve network issues, such as connectivity problems, latency, and performance issues. Monitor network performance of the Azure Stack Hub network and identify any areas for improvement. Manage network security through the implementation and management of network
security policies, such as access control lists (ACLs), firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems (IPSs). Collaborate with Technical Office and other partners such as program performers, cyber security, network engineering and infrastructure, ensuring that the network infrastructure is meeting their needs.
Partake in technical consultations and plan for new solutions along with Application & Infrastructure Team Engage with Vendor support team to resolve the problems Partake in projects deployment along with network engineering, server, database & application Team and providing security solution in line to Security guard rails Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in
networking and implementing best practices in Azure Stack Hub.
Maintain a working knowledge on ITSM process, such as change management, Ticket resolution, Identifying & Implementing automation Ideas, and revision control Other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience CCNP or CCIE level expertise in Enterprise Infrastructure 10+ years of experience in the design of large enterprise networks Experience with Azure Stack Hub architecture Good understanding and practical experience with Virtual Private Network (VPN) and next-generation firewall technologies (NGFW) Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, Check Point, etc. Good understanding and practical experience with routing protocols (EIGRP, OSFP, and BGP) Good understanding and practical experience with switching technologies (Spanning tree, Ether Channel, Port Security, 802.1X, MAB) Must be able to work with end-users, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.
Familiar with DOD and JTIC network deployment guidelines Experience with wide area network technologies and Service Provider and Local Exchange Carrier circuits Knowledge of Local Area Network technologies such as Ethernet, wireless LAN as well as the physical media and equipment associated with each Understanding of networking and core Internet protocols (e.
g. TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and distributed networks) Understanding of network traffic encryptions algorithm and data protecting mechanisms Understanding of VPN technology such as IPSEC Tunnel. Understanding of network connectivity for physical and virtualized servers and Public/Private Cloud Services Qualifications Candidate must have a Do D Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility.
