Job Description: Being a member of the Information Technology, the Lead Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing level 3 support for the end user Virtual Desktops.

The Engineer will need to assist with the implementation of information systems that support the enterprise infrastructure.

The Lead Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing level 3 support for the end user Virtual Desktops. The Engineer will assist with the implementation of information systems that support the enterprise infrastructure. The Lead shall have hands-on experience providing technical consultation to the business unit, IT management and staff members and be able to operate at the highest

technical level, in all phases of the project development cycle. Responsibilities: Provide Level 3 Engineering support for day-to-day activities, analysis, troubleshooting and is responsible for the integrity and reliability of the VDI environments Responsible for supporting the implementation of new systems, upgrades and modifications.

Will also participate in planning, testing, coordinating and scheduling. Will ensure that change management and defined security procedures for all assigned systems are completed in accordance with client policies and procedures Minimize client service interruptions through early identification and resolution of problems. Analyzes monitoring and maintenance

data and implements changes as the need arises to achieve optimum performance.

Makes and implements recommendations for resources required to maintain and/or expand service levels. Perform routine system analysis, develops reporting metrics, performs proactive and predictive analysis, documentation, testing, implementation and ongoing support. Responsible for problem management activities, providing tier-three support for incident and problem resolution. Extensive interfacing, collaboration, and coordination of efforts with vendors and other departments in the company Provide training to Help Desk team members, Operations staff and Level 1-2 Engineers, as needed Must be flexible and be available to provide off-hours support when required and be a part of a 24/7 on-call rotation Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of related experience Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience5 years experience in Desktop and Remote Access Technologies including VDISubject Matter Expert in any/all the following Citrix Technologies: Xen App/Xen Desktop, Net Scaler, Provisioning Services, Machine Creation Services, and Cloud Serviceinteractionperience with Microsoft Windows Server and Workstation technologies Strong knowledge of VMWare, Azure Cloud Services, Infrastructure services such as Networking, Print and File Services, Storage Services, Security Services and Active Directory Policy management Knowledge of Login VSI, RSA Secur ID (Multifactor Authentication), Thin Clients, Sys Track monitoring tools, Microsoft SQL Server, and IIS.

Solid background in Ivanti/App Sense Management Suite and Storage Area Networks Knowledge of Power Shell scripting Knowledge of disaster recovery procedures
