Our High-Risk Perinatal Center is designated as a Level IIIB Perinatal Referral Center by the Maryland Institute of Emergency
Medical Services System (MIEMSS), which means that it is recognized for an advanced level of specialty care for high-risk pregnancies. Responsibilities: Care for patients with complications: premature labor, hypertension, diabetes, autoimmune disease, etc.
Interface closely with Labor & Delivery, Maternal Fetal Medicine Physicians, Neonatologists and NICU to coordinate care for our patients Administer Mag for pre-term labor, preeclampsia and newborn protection Cervical ripening for patients that must be induced for medical reasons, perform cervical check and fetal monitoring What you will need: Required: 1 year of High Risk Pregnancy Nursing or 1 year of hospital experience Current licensure
by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
BLS certification (American Heart Association); additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements. Preferred: Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree (BSN or MSN) preferred. The Senior Research Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and developing applications for visualizing, processing, and manipulating geophysical data. The candidate will provide professional products and services, outreach and education, and program and project management.
Primary Duties: Design, develop, and implement data ingest services to take raw data from observations or forecast models and prepare it for high-performance visualization. Identify meteorological or environmental features of interest and develop individual images and/or animations of satellite imagery for inclusion on NOAA website and social media accounts. Develop and maintain processes for automated
data ingest and cataloging. Support the development of educational materials. Some travel is expected. Required Education/Experience/Skills: B. S. degree in Computer Science, Geography, or related discipline 15 years of professional experience.
Appropriate years of relevant experience can substitute for degree. Experience with IDL, Mc IDAS, and Arc GIS. Demonstrated proficiency in logical problem solving and proficiency in making backssments of all relevant clues to discover the cause of failures and recommend solutions.
