Systems Engineer supports the Government customer's development, fielding, and sustaining Mission Partner Environment (MPE) technological solutions.
Specific MPE support includes systems engineering support to extant intelligence and information sharing systems such as All Partners Access Network (APAN), Battlefield Information, Collection, & Exploitation System (BICES), Pegasus, Combined Federated Battle Laboratories Network (CFBLNet), Virtual Data Center (VDC), and Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS) and the MPE SECRET and Below Releasable Environment (SABRE). Extant systems support tasks include validating existing and pending requirements, developing courses of action that enable unencumbered service delivery, and identifying paths (technological, funding, contracting, and implementation) that enable execution.
MPE Future State tasks include defining performance requirements, clarifying service delivery specifications, capturing trade-offs, and promoting traceability through all phases of development, testing, and delivery. The Senior Systems Engineer role involves utilizing technical knowledge and engineering tools and methodologies to define and integrate across numerous functional elements and branches within the Mission Partner Capabilities Office.
Responsibilities: The Senior Systems Engineer will support the Government's efforts to drive technology and complete technical activities required to sustain extant intelligence and information sharing systems while enabling planning, design, testing, fielding, and integration of MPE Future State systems. Success relies on: Leading and facilitating technical analysis, review, and discussion Identifying, advising, and proactively addressing technical and policy gaps, shortfalls, and inconsistencies Maintaining positive customer relationships and delivering expeditious service Executing all Statements of Work tasks along with supporting emergent customer requests Embodying and reinforcing ISA's culture and mission-focused delivery approach Duties: Understanding applicable Do D, Federal, and Industry regulations, guidelines, and best practices to manage risk and ensure compliance Defining and driving system-level requirements and architectural decisions Communicating with engineers, capability leads, and end users to ensure deliverables meet end user needs and delivery criteria Developing and analyzing system, subsystem, and delivery requirements Developing and evaluating test processes and planso Using findings to drive decision-making, recommend improvements, and ensure results meet design and end-user requirements Providing technical expertise to the Systems Engineering Team and ISA cross-functional project teams to fully support mission objectives and customer needs Other Duties: Duties, responsibilities, and activities can change at any time based on project requirements.

Preference will be given to those who have an active TS/SCI clearance. Applicants must be able to submit documentation establishing U. S. Person status upon hiring. All ISA employees are required to uphold and maintain trustworthiness and suitability requirements of the U. S. federal government. Experience Required: 3 years minimum supporting senior headquarters positions (required); over 5 years' experience (preferred). Combatant Command, Joint Staff, Air or Space Staff, Major Command, staff officer/planning experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree with a focus in computer and information sciences, engineering, mathematics, computer science or other related disciplines (required). Master's degree in Systems Engineering or similar STEM discipline (preferred).
