Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health Pulse Point locations. The Fed RAMP Cloud Executive Advisor performs analysis and research of systems and networks. Reviews detailed business and technical requirements in order to recommend technical solutions.
How you will make an impact: Provides advanced level engineering design functions. Develops complex solutions from business requirements and architectural specifications; provides input to set or amend architectural specifications. Creates presentations and seeks IT managements approval and acceptance of significant replacements or reconfigurations of major business systems serving the enterprise. Directs
the construction of architecture components (e. g. data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture). Participates in the design of the enterprise architecture.
Proposes opportunities to improve results based on targeted or continuous backssment. Participates in enterprise planning activity, including vendor backssment, technology platform selection and retirement, prioritization and integration; routinely acts as a subject matter expert for executive management. Minimum Requirements: Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study Minimum of 10 years in one or more of the following: information systems, computer networking,
telecommunications, systems development and management required; Significant experience with multiple technical and business disciplines required; Broad-based experience to plan and design highly complex systems; Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences: Knowledge of Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (Fed RAMPĀ®) AWS Gov Cloud or other government cloud platform experience Experience in architecting-Engineering Dev Ops- based cloud network or cloud network security CI/CD deployment pipelines Experience with Source Code Management and branching usage Experience in large environments using automation and configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, Lambda and CFT Hands-on knowledge with one or more of the following: My SQL, Postgre SQL, RDS, Oracle, SQL Server Experience in defining, developing, and implementing automated processes for cloud databases (monitoring, alerting, backup, recovery, tagging, etc.
) Working closely with development teams, cloud security & compliance, and infrastructure teams, etc. to execute on auto scaling and right sizing cloud database cost saving initiatives.
