Use critical thinking skills to manage high-acuity, complex patients. Become a certified trauma nurse with potential for growth in a Level 1 Trauma Center. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree preferred. Registered Nurse RN Licensure: Valid and current Connecticut registered nurse licensure is required. Experience: 1 or more years of Emergency Room nursing experience is required. Position WILL NOT train. BLS or CPR certification: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross will be accepted. ACLS and TNCC are required within three months of

hire. Position is not available for training or Graduate Nurse Residency candidates. Position Highlights and Benefits: Full-Time - Weekends Only - 12-Hr Night Shift.

Will work 24 hours from 7:00 pm Friday thru 7:30 am Monday but will be paid for 30 hours per week. All shifts will be every weekend, plus holidays. All colleagues will be paid an additional differential during 24 hours worked and base pay during an additional 6 non-worked hours. Also eligible for all shift differentials during 24 hours worked Additional hourly specialty pay is added to base pay compensation for Experience Nurses with one (1) or more years of experience.
