as needed while under development. Education Writing: Develop, maintain and manage all end-user materials presented for staff and clients via our online training online campuses (CU Training, Inc.

Ensure course materials are kept up to date with ongoing changes in our software and coordinate with the Client Services & Education team to develop new content for our ongoing online education program. Participate in Design team meetings and project review sessions to learn about course content and contribute a learner's perspective to the design process. Marketing & Sales Writing/Design: Develop content for sales- and marketing-related publications such as, promotional flyers, brochures, invitations, support documents for sales proposals, etc.
Assist Web Services and other teams with editing or writing content for client-facing marketing publications and websites. Includes playing a large role in the creation and/or editing of press releases to meet organizational goals defined by the VP of Marketing & Public Relations. Grand-Opening Coordination: Manage the Grand Opening plans for major new products and services being rolled out to clients, especially those that are delivered directly to members (such as changes to online banking, new mobile products, and the like).
Develop and maintain the formal grand opening plan and facilitate areas specifically related to marketing writing/design and communications. Monitor and coordinate participation by other Writing Team members or other teams to ensure plan goals are communicated and timelines followed. Maintain the Grand Opening portal page and related client and member-facing websites. Special Project Coordination: Members of the Writing Team are often called upon to act as a point person for special projects, either in the short term for special events, or for the long-term coordination of periodic and ongoing activities.

Department Blueprints: Work with other departments in the organization to develop extensive written materials documenting the team's function and daily processes, providing both a statement of work to define the department's activities as well as a template for organizations that want to start a similar effort. Review the requirements, project design drawings, contractor proposals, and contractor submittals ensuring that the documents meet the technical, design and engineering requirements.
Good understanding in security system engineering to include cable shielding, drain wire use, and bonding/grounding issues that affect the critical operations of electronic security systems. Provide technical expertise for security systems architecture and capabilities in support of Enterprise Physical Access Control Systems (e PACS) program. Create training material associated with security system engineering and deliver training sessions to security professionals within USCIS.
Lead/attend a variety of meetings related to e PACS and ESS installations. Develop and deliver reports associated with security systems on the technical challenges and changes to USCIS leadership. Schedule and conduct site visits, surveys, inspections, and security acceptances during construction/installation identifying any discrepancies during the installation such as incorrect sizing of power, poor cabling practices, incorrect wiring, incorrect software/hardware configurations, incorrect materials, and other discrepancies outside of industry standards and USCIS technical requirements.
Know and identify the industry standards and continue to provide recommendations to USCIS on compliance and updated standards. Document changes and deficiencies to projects for approval and action by project managers assigned to the projects prior to corrections. Review and edit USCIS technical requirements as needed to ensure relevance to industry standards, evolving technologies, software and hardware products associated with security systems. Provide cost estimates to include labor and bill of material needed. Operate as the liaison between USCIS facilities and divisions when providing technical support.
Coordinate technical requirements (USCIS) with Physical Security Section (PSS) and Office of Information Technology (OIT) ensuring consistency with IT requirements and standards. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum High School Diploma/GED. Minimum five (5) years of work experience relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the position. Experience working with cross-functional teams to perform and complete task. Previous experience installing cable, rack and stack switches, servers, panels and workstations.
