Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Mid-Level Network and Communications Systems Engineer to join the team located in Huntington Beach, CA. The Systems Engineer will provide communications and networking support for the portfolio of businesses in Maritime and Information Security business.

This position requires the person to support the complex integrated RF and cabled communication and networking subsystems that are part of the products and systems that we design and build. As a network architect with RF and communications experience the candidate will fill all or parts of the following roles:

Technical Expert - Technical resource for network systems, including LAN/Wi-Fi, WAN, wireless and satellite communications Network Designer - Develops new and modifies existing network platform capabilities to support program requirements by: Mapping network platform/infrastructure components; Identifying dependencies across systems / platforms; Managing network infrastructure security, availability, recoverability, performance, integrity, and supportability; System Integrator - Collaborating with stakeholder to capture and implement networking and security requirements RF Comm Point Of Contact - Understanding of Communication System design integration and testing of RF components, RF Comm System

troubleshooting, Link Budgets, Mapping system requirements to RF equipment design decisions.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires an active Secret U. S. Security Clearance. (A U. S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active. ) Ability to obtain final U. S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor or Master of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. Active US Secret Clearance or Above.3+ Years of Systems Engineering Experience.

Willing and able to travel domestically 5% of the time.
