position requires strong communication and organizational skills, experience working across all levels of the Department of Defense (Do D), and demonstrated knowledge of Do D, federal, and mission partner communications operations during Homeland Defense (HD) and Civil Support (CS) operations.
This position will provide subject matter expertise to developing plans for enterprise approaches in alignment with Do D strategic initiatives. Primary Responsibilities: Advise the customer on opportunities to shape Do D strategic IT initiatives, policies, and programs to include IT operational and technical requirements in support of operations and activities Support development and maintenance
of the strategic and implementation plans Advise the customer on strategies and plans for IT and data governance across the enterprise Advise the customer on resource requirements and risks associated with achieving goals and objectives Support participation in higher-level strategic planning processes and initiatives Requirements: 10 years of experience with IT strategic planning within the Department of Defense Comprehensive knowledge of IT strategic planning; information system concepts; and standard practices and procedures to support planning and execution of IT projects and programs Experience representing senior leadership at meetings, working groups, and other forums as required Communicates
effectively through formal presentations and information discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience working independently with minimal guidance and exercising mature judgment B.
