Perform routine maintenance and updates to servers, desktops, and network equipment. Troubleshoot network issues and outages to ensure timely resolution. Monitor system logs and alerts to identify and address potential security threats. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure system performance and availability meet or exceed established service levels. Participate in the deployment and maintenance of new hardware and software systems.
Document system configuration and procedures, and ensure that documentation is kept up to date. Provide support and guidance to end-users in the use of IT systems and applications.
Adhere to established IT policies and procedures, including security and compliance guidelines. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience. 1-3 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Active Directory and network infrastructure. Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and related technologies. Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. Familiarity with network protocols, including
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. Understanding of security and compliance standards such as NIST and CMMC.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly. Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Do D clearance, U. S.
