Responsibilities of Information Technology Specialists include coordinating all hardware/software purchases with the Contracting Officer's Representative; managing and providing oversight of all IT systems; maintaining all hardware and software; maintaining computer certificates; initiating new user accounts; and tracking user accounts and annual training requirements.
IT Specialists will also provide general IT support; perform lifecycle system replacement backssments; back up user data; troubleshoot all hardware and software issues; replace components and perform updates. IT Specialists will troubleshoot specialized servers and raid arrays; track Cyber Awareness training;
and submit weekly status reports. IT support will be provided for all contractor personnel and up to 45 Government employees. IT support may be required 24/7, including weekends and holidays during the active training schedule.
Education and Experience: Possess demonstrated and documented successful experience executing tasks described above. Possess the proven ability to plan, organize, and develop schedules and milestones for program goals and monitor progress in time for corrective action to be taken. Must demonstrate proficiency in MS Office applications. Possess Comp TIA Security+ (supersedes A+ and Network+) certification and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certification:
