Responsible for administration of classified and unclassified systems and networks IAW applicable MDA and Do D guidance. Ensures IT systems and networks are fully functional for all operational and support activities. Provides technical expertise in relation to IT processes and operations based on applicable MDA and Do D security provisions, technical guidance, and documented instructions.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining user accounts, profiles, privileges and overall network and system security. Anticipates IT related issues and implements proactive preventive measures. Develops, sustains, and updates documentation for Information Technology processes and procedures. Performs
regular and on-demand system backups and recoveries. Maintains IT databases and performs programming tasks in relation to system administration. Researches, evaluates, and recommends new and emerging IT systems technologies to advance and support MDDC Program requirements.
Leads, trains, and supports the work of other staff engaged in system and network administration functions. Provides technical leadership in the integration and testing of complex large-scale networks. #Broadleaf Requirements: Deep understanding of network administration tools, techniques, and methods. Proficient in Windows Operating Systems 2010 and Windows Server 2008 R2/2012R2/2016/2019 Fundamental knowledge in networking
principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP) Must be able to work with minimal oversight and possess abilities to communicate effectively through all levels within the organization working closely with project leads and other team members Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field At least 11 years of relevant work experience.
