The ideal candidate will be a motivated, passionate leader with the ability to drive our long-term Air Force strategic goals with daily tactical objectives. YOU will be a critical component in taking complex problems and delivering solutions.

What you'll get to do: Define policies, procedures for ingestion and normalization of data following best practices and architecture development efforts in capturing data (e. g. Do DAF, TOGAF, UAF, FEA, etc. ). Communicate directly with clients to gather requirements, deliver designs, etc. Define processes for management and integration of Air Force Architecture data, processes, and use

Establish benchmarks for existing and future architecture development IAW Air Force Requirements documents. Leverage existing tools to capture data. Develop recommendations, support staffing, adjudicate comments, and deliver revisions to General Orders.

Interact with clients and business partners to document the Current As-Is Enterprise Architecture. State interfaces to adjacent architectures and define the data requirements across each interface. Define and scope the Air Force Operational Environment development. Work closely with team members and clients to research and troubleshoot issues. Identify critical attributes of Air Force Architectures, which must be addressed. Provide direction

to subordinate architects and architecture repositories to maintain, upgrade, transition, and/or develop architectures within the " To-Be" standards and criteria.

Qualifications Ability to analyze Air Force architectures and work with engineers and other architects to design responsive controls to ensure end-to-end business processes. Experience working with product and technology leaders to develop and own practical objectives and key Enterprise Architecture results. Experience identifying strategies for addressing requirements, risks, and issues, and conduct detailed trade-off analysis of requirements against fiscal, schedule, and performance issues.

Resolve issues and create architectural vision. Ability to manage and improve critical models such as Business Reference Model, Performance Reference Model, Technical / Technology Reference Model, Security Reference Model, and Service Reference Model. Assist the Air Force in selecting technologies that address Zero Trust Architecture, emerging threats and vulnerabilities, facilitates continuous delivery of value, and improves upon existing security processes. Ability to perform ad hoc duties. Do D Secret clearance requirement to begin employment. Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university with over 6 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree with over 3 years of relevant experience.

Desired Skills: Requires 5 years of demonstrated Enterprise Architecture experience with a preference for Do DAF. Intermediate knowledge/experience must include a wide range of work in reviewing, creating diagrams, and documentation with all components that comprise IT systems, including network topology. Understanding of architectural design and application delivery in technologies that include, but are not limited to: cloud, mobile, web, APIs/micro services, automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment; Leading complex efforts within established Software Development Lifecycles and methodologies including agile, scrum, iterative and waterfall, using blended resources Able to manage multiple projects and deliver high quality deliverables by deadlines.

Flexible and adaptable with the ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments, while delivering quality work. Design user stories, user journeys, etc. Enterprise Architecture Certification from FEAC or similar Do D or Air Force experience Working knowledge of Cloud technologies and migration approaches Understanding how the Air Force operates.
